Gorgeous Egress Window Installation Transforms Basement Space in Mishawaka, IN Home
Trever and Shannon were looking to have their smaller basement windows replaced with large ones. She called up Ayers and our crew decided they would love our Egress Windows.
Egress Windows are larger and therefore make your basement space more open. The larger windows will let in more natural light and circulate fresh air in your basement. These windows are installed with a well that have a step in it to provide a safe exit option in the event of an emergency.
Trever and Shannon were happy with the difference these larger windows made as their basement is now more inviting!
Removing Water from Mishawaka, IN, Basement with TripleSafe
Michael recently noticed his old sump pump had failed, and water was pooling on his basement floor. He couldn't fix the issue himself, so he researched his options and called Ayers for help. We sent a team of experts to his home to evaluate the situation and recommend a solution. They recommended replacing the old pump with TripleSafe, a sump pump designed to prevent failure by including two backup pumps, one of which is battery-powered in case of outages. Michael can't believe how great his new system is!
Keeping Basement Dry in Lakeville, IN
During heavy rains Brett and Sandy’s basement would flood. In order to waterproof their basement our team installed the WaterGuard system along with TripleSafe and IceGuard. These three items each play a large role in keeping basements dry. Catching any leakage from higher walls and floors, the WaterGuard system will prevent water from reaching the basement floor. TripleSafe is a sump pump system that is battery powered which will allow Brett and Sandy to not worry about their basement flooding during power outages. Lastly, the IceGuard Sump Pump Discharge Line System allows water to leave even when it is frozen. Installing these three pieces will keep their basement dry no matter what weather their house encounters.
WaterGuard System and TripleSafe Provide Lakeville, IN Home Defense Against Wall Leaks
Cara was having trouble with water leaking through her basement walls. Irritated with the water pools invading her space, she gave Ayers a call hoping for a solution. We sent out a crew and our System Design Specialists inspected her basement. They let Cara know our WaterGuard System and TripleSafe Sump Pump System would do the trick!
We first installed our WaterGuard System which is a sub-floor drainage system designed to stop these annoying wall leaks that intrude your home space. This will collect any water and dirt which will then be directed to your sump system. We then installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System which consists of three pumps that fit in one trusty liner that work together to keep water out of your basement. The first pump will be doing most of the work while the second is there for assistance or if the first fails. The final pump is battery-operated meaning it will run during power outages.
Cara was grateful to have a permanent solution installed to tackle her pesky wall water leaks!
BrightWall WaterProofs Bellevue, MI Basement
Here we can see the damage that large cracks can have on basement walls. It’s very common for cracks like these to appear where plumbing pipes connect and for those cracks to later spring leaks. After noticing the size of these cracks, the owner of this Bellevue, MI home became very worried about his foundation. Once the crew reinforced the wall, they got to work on waterproofing the cracks to guarantee that this type of water damage wouldn’t happen again.
To do so, they used the BrightWall Rigid Panel System. BrightWall panels can be attached in front of almost any wall with plastic drilled-in fasteners, making the installation quick and smooth. Brightwall is made of mold resistant, waterproof material so the water stains seen in the before picture won’t ever appear on the panels. Also part of the BrightWall system is a drainage area that sits at the foot of the wall. Water that leaks through the cracks will flow behind the panels and into the system for discharge. As you can see, not only did BrightWall solve the leaking issue, the white plastic proved to be the perfect component to improve the look of this unfinished basement.
