WaterGuard System Protects Basement in East Lansing, MI from Heavy Rain Leaks

Thom was dealing with water leaks in his basement after heavy rainfalls and decided enough was enough, he needed professional help. After calling Ayers we sent out a crew to examine the issue. It was decided installing our WaterGuard System would be the best solution.

WaterGuard is a sub-floor drainage system that is placed along the perimeter of your basement and prevents water or dirt from getting to your foundation. The water will instead flow to your drainage pipes and be directed to your sump pump system. Concrete is poured over top to conceal the drainage system and regular flooring can even be installed over this as well if desired.

Thom is happy to have the pesky water leaks taken care of with this new waterproofing system installation!

Waterproofing Installations Save East Lansing, MI Home from Irritating Wall Leaks

Milton was experiencing some serious trouble with water leaking from his wall that was soaking his precious belongings. Tired of worrying about the safety and protection of his home he called Ayers. We had a crew head over to his home for a free inspection. After this was completed our System Design Specialists concluded he could use our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, IceGuard, LawnScape Outlet, and FlexiSpan.

First with TripleSafe, this three pump system fits in one durable liner and does a stellar job of keeping water out of basements! The first pump will do most of this job, the second is there for backup, and the last pump is battery operated for power outages. We installed IceGuard to his exterior discharge lines as the slotted openings will eject water, protecting them from harsh weather conditions so they won't freeze or clog. Then we added our LawnScape Outlet which is an underground extension to the drainage line that enables downspout water to escape. Lastly we installed FlexiSpan to address the actual wall crack. This is a crack repair system that consists of a two-layer sealant. This sealant both plugs the crack and creates a drainage route for any water leaks. Underneath the white panel, polyurethane was used to seal the seam and any water that pushes its way through this sealant will flow down the wall into a drainage well at the foot of the wall.

With these long-lasting, durable waterproofing solutions in action Milton is no longer stressing about water leaks damaging his home!
