Mike was sick and tired of dealing with excess water in his basement due to his failing sump pump, so he called Ayers to fix it. Ian has gotten work done by us before and was very impressed so when he started to have water intrusion in a corner of his basement he knew who to call. We installed the WaterGuard system for him to keep the water out of the house. The WaterGuard is a French drain system that collects water that enters the home and sends it to the sump pump. The drain is installed under the floor but above the foundation as to not clog so the water can continue to flow to the sump pump and be discharged outside the home.

We installed a new SmartDrain sump pump and WaterGuard to drain the water properly from the basement, then encapsulated the crawl space using our CleanSpace system with drainage matting. A SaniDry dehumidifier finished the job. Now the basement AND crawl space are dry and usable spaces.
