Charlene's Sanford, MI home was built in the 1930s and her block foundation gets water in the corner of her basement whenever it rains. She finally got tired of cleaning up the puddles on the floor with a wet-vac, so she called Ayers for an inspection. 

Out crew determined that WaterGuard would be the perfect solution for Charlene. WaterGuard is a sub-floor waterproofing system that collects water that leaks through the walls and keeps dirt away from the foundation. It is installed along the perimeter of the foundation. Concrete is poured on top and regular flooring can be placed on top. 

Christine noticed moisture was entering her crawl space and causing mold growth. She knew this could lead to structural damage, so she called Ayers for help. Our specialists stopped by and recommended installing EverLast doors. Crawl space doors are often constructed of plywood or similar materials that fail to eliminate moisture. The EverLast door is made from a durable plastic that will not shrink, crack, or warp under certain conditions. Christine is happy to have a dry crawl space!

We install this drain around the perimeter of the basement and pour concrete over top so it will blend with the space when it dries. Charlene was happy to get a solution that will protect her belongings from getting soaked!

Rory realized his basement windows didn't open wide enough for an escape from the inside. This was a serious safety hazard, so he researched his options and called Ayers for help. Our crew of experts stopped by his house and evaluated the space. They recommended installing an egress window for easy escapes during emergencies. Egress windows are built to hold back heavy soil and water and include a polycarbonate safety cover designed to be stepped on without breaking. Having an emergency exit is a big weight off Rory's shoulders!

Gabriel was looking to sell his home within the next few years, but he has been experiencing water in his basement. In order to fix his water intrusion issues he called our team and we installed TripleSafe along with a few other systems. TripleSafe is a Sump Pump system that’s main goal is to keep your basement dry. This system provides ultimate protection because it has three pumps within the system and one of them is battery powered. The battery powered pump allows the system to work even during power outages.
