Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Chuck. After Chuck arrived, he began the thorough inspection of the basement and foundation. During his inspection, Chuck discovered several areas that were suffering and needed to be repaired. To ensure the issue doesn’t continue, Chuck recommended installing a variety of products. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with Chuck’s proposal. Next, the proposal was passed along to our Logistics team to build and schedule the project. As soon as the proposal was finalized, it was scheduled for the following month. Once the project date arrived, our Foreman, Juan, and his crew traveled to the home. Juan and his crew arrived at the home and began the installation. First, Juan and his crew installed Geolock Wall Anchors on the walls. Next, the crew shifted their focus to installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Finally, the crew secured an Aprilaire in the basement. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the crew’s excellent work ethic. A resident in Fredericksburg, IA had water leaking through the floor of their basement, causing issues such as water damage and moisture build-up. Our production Foreman and his team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer. In broken out trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System. Our WaterGuard is a special interior drainage system that collects leaking water from walls, prevents water clogs, and stays out of the "mud zone." Next, our team performed a Half Wall Demo and broke out the bottom half of the basement wall, and installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent water moisture and humidity, act as an extra wall protectant, and save money on energy bills. To complete the project, our Foreman and his crew filled all the open gaps with pea gravel and poured new concrete over them.
