Myron S. in Peterson, MN was experiencing water seeping into his basement. The water had started pooling and had nowhere to go. He was concerned about the damage this could cause and that water would keep coming in with each rainfall. He contacted us to set up a FREE estimate, so we sent a Design Specialist to his home to evaluate the situation and create a solution specific for him. Our production team installed 30 feet of WaterGuard along the perimeter of his basement floor, which guides water to the SuperSump sump pump. The sump pump then pumps the water from the home through the discharge line to the outside, keeping his basement dry. They started the installation by removing the concrete and laying 119 feet of the WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement. Then, they installed the sump pump and our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls. The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump, and from there the water is pushed through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Beverly also had a SaniDry XP Dehumidifer installed to ensure her basement was protected from excess moisture. The SaniDry XP removes up to 109 liters of water per day and is more powerful and energy efficient than ever! Beverly is glad she made the investment to protect her home.

Our Design Specialist built a personalized plan with Allen that would permanently waterproof his basement.. Our crew installed a full perimeter of WaterGuard, lateral feed lines through the middle of the basement to guide water to the WaterGuard, and a TripleSafe sump pump.

The WaterGuard drainage system directs any water seeping in to the sump pump. Once the water reaches the sump pump, it is then pumped through the discharge line and expelled to the outside of the home. Iron ochre is a rust-colored bacterium that dissolves in water and attaches to pipes, and eventually results in complete blockage. Hector went to Patricia's home to inspect the problems and come up with a solution. Our Foreman, Raul Barroso, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter of the basement floor, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our Iron Ochre Perimeter Drain. This system is ideal for managing difficult iron water problems. The wide-open design of the drain helps it resist clogs, while a removable lid allows for easy access and maintenance. Next, our production team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent mold and humidity, cover any holes or divots, and provide the space with a neat and clean appearance. To complete the installation, our team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Patricia was very thankful we were able to help serve her and her home repair needs!
