A homeowner in East Grand Forks, MN had been battling water problems for quite some time, enough to the point they couldn't add any finishing touches to their basement. Our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson, went to their home for a FREE Estimate and thoroughly inspected their problems. After a couple hours of discussing and explaining our basement waterproofing repairs, the homeowner was comfortable with Chad's proposal and got all of their questions answered, so they moved forward with the project.

He went on the American Waterworks website and contacted our staff through our webchat. We set him up with a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to his home to inspect the leaks and come up with a solution. Charlie got all of his questions answered and was confident in Chad's proposal, so he moved forward with the project. 

Our Foreman, Brian Colliton, and his production crew started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System. Our WaterGuard is a patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage on top of the foundation footing. It is our most commonly used drain system because of its resistance to water clogs, its easy-to-access service ports, and its ability to collect leaking water from basement walls. Our Design Specialist, Tom Ringeisen, went to their home to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. Josh from Henning, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice his foundation was showing signs of sinkage. Josh could see visible cracking and wanted to get ahead of the issue before it could create a bigger problem. The crew began by installing the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Once the WaterGuard was installed, the crew installed and attached the SuperSump+ to the new WaterGuard system. Next, the crew shifted their focus to replacing the wood posts with SmartJacks. After all the basement products were installed, the crew attached the IceGuard to the outside discharge line. The crew put the basement back in order and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their basement was dry and secure.
