Phil and Robin G. of Frazee, MN were having water moisture and humidity problems in their crawl space, causing mold to grow. They did some research on our website and saw we perform work in crawl space encapsulation. They called our office to schedule a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Rick Weber. Rick went to their home to inspect their crawl space and come up with a solution. Phil and Robin were comfortable with Rick's proposal and presentation, so they got an installation date on the schedule. 

Our Foreman, Patrick Burnes, and his production team installed 735 feet of our CleanSpace Encapsulation. Our CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that stops moisture from passing through the floors and concrete walls. It transforms the crawl space into usable storage space and it also gives the space a neat and clean appearance. Phil and Robin were satisfied with the work and had a great experience!

Susan B. of Clear Lake, IA had sagging floor joists and water leaking into her crawl space, and it made her worry about the structural build of her home. Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team began the project by installing our drainage matting. The purpose of drainage matting is to direct the water flooding the crawl space into the perimeter crawl space drain and sump pump system. Next, our team installed our Foamax Wall Panels around the crawl space perimeter. Our Foamax is a foam insulation that reduces moisture condensation, provides comfort, and makes the walls look nice and bright. Then, our crew installed our CleanSpace Encapsulation Vapor Barrier on top of the drainage matting. Our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier is made to stop moisture from passing through the walls and floors. Lastly, Juan and his team installed our crawl space SmartJacks, which provides solid support for sagging beams and restores the stability in a crawl space. Susan had a remarkable experience! 

A homeowner in Clear Lake, IA, was clearing out their crawl space when they noticed it was falling apart. Worried about the long-term effects, the homeowner began searching for a solution. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner waited for the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Ryan. As soon as he arrived, Ryan began his thorough investigation of the crawl space. The office built and scheduled the project, then it was assigned to our Foreman, Matt, and his crew. Matt and his crew traveled to the home and started the crawl space encapsulation. First, the crew began by clearing the crawl space. Next, the crew laid Drainage Matting on the crawl space floor. Then, the crawl space is installed CleanSpace on the crawl space walls and floors. Finally, the crew installed Foamax on the crawl space walls. Matt and his crew cleaned up the materials, then cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the wonderful work completed by the crew, so they left a kind review. American Waterworks is happy to assist their homeowners in encapsulating their crawl spaces.  

Caitlin, a resident of Waldorf, MN, realized that her crawl space needed some attention. Our Foreman and his crew began the project by clearing debris and readying the spaces for installation. They then installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier to address water Issues. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic barrier that gets installed right onto the problem walls and works to catch water entering the space through cracks and holes in the wall. This also reduces the home's chances of being exposed to radon. Next the team added our SmartDrain, which helps fully waterproof the crawl space. The crew also used spray foam to seal and waterproof the homeowner's crawl space. Our spray foam is designed to keep the heat inside and prevent cool air from coming in. Finally, our team added an Aprilaire dehumidifier, which creates healthy air and can reduce the number of viable viruses in the air to less than 1% in two days when set to 50% relative humidity. Now, Caitlin's crawlspace is protected, and we improved her peace of mind.
