Sinking Concrete Walkway Gets Lifted in Faribault, MN

A homeowner from Faribault, MN, got in touch with us when she noticed that a crack in her front walkway had progressed and gotten worse. Not wanting to let the issue worsen, she decided to give us a call and claim her FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Tony B, headed out to the home. When Tony concluded his inspection, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendation. He informed the homeowner that we could address the sinking concrete with the help of our PolyLevel lifting and leveling solution. He explained that our PolyLevel is a dense, polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath sinking concrete, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back into its former place. He went on to say that our lifts are completed with the application of our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied to cracks and joints in the concrete and works to prevent moisture from getting below the slab. The homeowner agreed with Tony's plan, and the work was scheduled for a few weeks later.

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Dylon M, and his team were able to complete the lift and seal with no complications. Now our customer is thrilled to kow that she no longer has to worry about cracked concrete!

Cracked and Settling Porch Lifted and Sealed in Faribault, MN

A homeowner in Faribault, MN, was concerned about his settling back porch, which was a tripping hazard for family and friends. He searched for "porch sinking repair" and found our website. After browsing our website, he was impressed with our before-and-after photos and decided to schedule his FREE, no-obligation estimate.

Our Design Specialist, Mitch S., arrived at the home on the scheduled date and conducted a thorough inspection of the back porch. He explained to the homeowner that one of the common causes of a sinking porch is soil compacting and settling. When a soil's load-bearing capacity exceeds, it causes the support soil beneath the concrete slab to expand and contract. This eventually leads to concrete sinking and, in most cases, cracks forming in one or more parts of the slab. To fix this issue, Mitch recommended our PolyLevel to lift the concrete and NexusPro to seal the cracks and joints. The homeowner was thankful for Mitch's explanation and decided to move forward with his recommendation. Mitch's design was then sent to our Foreman, Jordan S.

In about a month, Jordan and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They began lifting the concrete by drilling small holes into the slab and installing the injection ports. PolyLevel is then injected beneath the slab, causing it to lift. Once it has been lifted, the crew ensures it is leveled before sealing the holes with concrete. Lastly, the crew uses NexusPro to seal the cracks and joints. Both PolyLevel and NexusPro are long-lasting with high durability. Once the crew was done with the installations, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Now, our customer can have peace of mind with his porch leveled and crack-free! Are you experiencing something similar? Schedule your FREE estimate today by clicking HERE!

Sidewalk Makeover in Cottage Grove, MN

A homeowner in Cottage Grove, MN, saw their sidewalk was starting to show its age. Several sections of the sidewalk and the concrete stairs began separating and falling apart. Wanting to solve the issue before it worsens, the homeowner wanted a professional to inspect the sidewalk. The homeowner looked through all their different options and came across our website. After seeing we offer FREE estimates and the services they need, the homeowner decided to call our Appointment Center and sign up for their estimate. After the details were finalized, we sent out one of our Design Specialists to inspect the sidewalk. After their detailed inspection, the Design Specialist determined that the concrete was sinking. The Design Specialist recommended that the sidewalk be lifted and leveled and that several cracks be filled. The homeowners agreed and production preparations began. Our Foreman, Sam, and his crew arrived at the home to begin the lifting and leveling process. First, the crew installed the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, underneath the affected concrete. Once the PolyLevel was properly inserted, the crew focused on filling the cracks and joints. To fill these several cracks and joints, the crew utilized the NexusPro Solution, a silicone-based solution. After all the cracks and joints were filled, the crew completed the job and left the home. The homeowners were appreciative of the job well done by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to help another customer.

Sinking Concrete Gets Fixed in Northfield, MN

A homeowner from Northfield, MN, got in touch with us when she noticed one of her concrete slabs in front of her home was beginning to sink, becoming uneven, and creating a trip hazard. She signed up for her FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, Mitch S, one of our Design Specialists, headed out to the home to see what could be done.

After Mitch finished his inspection, he let the homeowner know we could save her time and money by restoring her concrete using our PolyLevel injection. PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected underneath sinking concrete slabs. It works to fill voids left by soil erosion, slowly lifting concrete back into place in the process. Mitch went on to say that once the concrete was lifted, he would like our team to install our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied directly to the cracks and joints of the newly lifted concrete and protects the vulnerable soil below as it's designed to withstand harsh weather conditions. The homeowner liked the sound of the proposed work and decided to schedule the installation for a few weeks later.

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Pat, and his team were able to complete the lift, level, and seal of the concrete. Now, our customer can rest easy knowing her uneven concrete has been dealt with!
