Wahpeton, ND, Concrete Repair
A homeowner in Wahpeton, ND, noticed the slabs on their sidewalk were heaving and becoming a major tripping hazard. Unsure of the long-term effects, the homeowner began looking into "Wahpeton, ND, concrete repair". While sifting through several companies, the homeowner came across American Waterworks impressive before and after concrete repair photos. The homeowner was convinced to sign up for their FREE estimate. After their estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists to the home to perform a detailed inspection. The Design Specialist arrived and started the thorough inspection of the exterior concrete. During their inspection, the Design Specialist recommended lifting the sidewalk to eliminate the heave. After considering all their options, the homeowner knew this was the best plan of action. The Design Specialist passed the plans along to our office to approve these plans. Once the project was scheduled and built, the project was assigned to our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew. Charlie and his crew traveled to Wahpeton and began the lift. First, Charlie and his crew started the project by installing PolyLevel underneath the struggling sidewalk. Once the sidewalk was fully lifted, the crew shifted their focus to filling various cracks throughout the concrete. To fill these cracks, the crew utilized NexusPro Crack Repair. After the sidewalk was lifted and repaired, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their sidewalk was properly lifted and leveled. American Waterworks is happy to provide their homeowners peace of mind knowing the trip hazard was eliminated.
Cracked Driveway Gets Restored in Barnesville, MN
A homeowner from Barnesville, MN, was dealing with a deteriorating driveway. His driveway had been sinking over the years and had begun cracking as a result. The homeowner no longer wanted to deal with the eyesore and decided to look into what options might be out there. One day, he found himself at the Red River Valley Home + Garden Show in Fargo, ND. While perusing the booths, he ended up at the American Waterworks booth and spoke to our Design Specialist, Kole, about his concrete issue. He and Kole set up a time for Kole to come out to his home to see the concrete.
Once the day arrived, Kole got right to work completing his inspection. When he finished, he explained to the homeowner that concrete can sink for a variety of reasons but that we could help fix the issue with the help of our PolyLevel method. He explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sinking concrete slabs. It works to fill voids left over by soil erosion and slowly lifts sunken concrete back to it's desired location. Kole went on to say that our team recommends the application of NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied to the cracks and joints of the newly lifted concrete and works to protect the vulnerable soil below by preventing water from getting between the slabs. The homeowner liked the sound of Kole's plan and scheduled the job for the Spring.
When the snow melted and warm weather returned, our Foreman, CJ, and his team were able to complete the lift and level with no issues. Now our homeowner can look at his driveway fondly, knowing the cracks have been sealed.
