After measuring energy loss in the space, our expert recommended closed cell spray foam to decrease heating and cooling costs, and provide a more temperate climate during cold winter months. A DBS Foreman and their production crew applied the spray foam along the walls of the warehouse, as well as the ceiling.

From there, they applied closed-cell spray foam insulation to the rim joists where the crawl space was releasing cold air into the main level of the home.

Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo went out to this Duluth home to conduct a free no-obligation inspection of the issue. Upon completion of a thorough inspection, Henrik informed the homeowner that DBS's PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System would be the best solution for the cracked walls. DBS was also consulted to install waterproofing materials for this home as well.

Foreman Osia Williams and his crew led the installation for this project. Osia and his team successfully installed 3 PowerBrace™ I-beams that can be tightened over the years to correct cracking in the walls, and even potentially move the wall back to its initial position.

The owners of this home are now able to relax comfortably in their home knowing that their foundation has been permanently stabilized, and the basement is dry and free of additional mold growth or cracking.

Foreman Trevor Ingle led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they drove 4 push piers beneath the foundation of the home until they hit a more stable layer of soil, ensuring that the structure would not experience any further sinking or settling. The crew also sealed the crevice with NexusPro®, a silicone-based sealant. The home has been permanently stabilized, and each pier is backed with a 25-year warranty.

Now that the home has been permanently stabilized, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind knowing that they are safe in their home.
