We had a cold, damp crawlspace in Duluth, MN that started growing mold. This section of the foundation wall had cracks so extreme that the homeowner had to use expanding foam in an attempt to seal the home away from the wind, cold, and water outside of the home. The homeowner knew this solution was a temporary fix and provided zero structural integrity for the wall. Fortunately, they found out about the work DBS Residential Solutions does to permanently secure foundations. After a full evaluation of the situation the homeowner signed up for a blend of foundation repair solutions that were used across the home depending on the needs in certain areas. In the section pictured we used Helical Tie Backs and Carbon Armor Wall Anchors to permanently stabilize this foundation wall. With this in combination with patching the previous cracks we have created a stabilized wall that seals the home away from the outside environment.
