A homeowner from Grantsburg, WI Reached out to DBS looking for help with their unstable flooring. One of our Design Specialists went to the home to run a free no-obligation estimate. After a thorough inspection, our Design Specialist provided the homeowner with a free quote for our basement SmartJack® System. One of our crews led by Foreman, Zach Royer, installed the system in the basement to jack up the flooring above, eliminating unlevel areas and permanently stabilizing the foundation. This homeowner in Maple, WI was facing problems with wall stabilization and cracks in their basement. The wall had shifted from previous repair over a decade ago; unable to repair this problem on their own, the owner turned to DBS for a solution. 

Design Specialist James Miller assisted this homeowner in a free no-obligation estimate to find the right solution for this home. James suggested the installation of a GeoLock™ Wall Anchor System. 

Foreman Osia Williams led the installation along with a team. Together the team installed 3 Geolock™ Wall Anchors allowing for stabilization for the whole wall. This is done by connecting a steel rod to plates that are connected and located inside the home to an earth anchor that is installed in the soil outside of the home. This connection will allow for the system to be adjusted to stabilize and straighten out the wall. 

With this newly stable wall, this homeowner can live comfortably in their healthy home.

A homeowner in Minnetonka, MN was experiencing issues with their basement foundation wall. The concrete block wall was starting to bow, and the homeowner was unsure if this would be a problem down the road. The foundation wall on this Chanhassen home was bowing and had developed a long crack along the length of the wall. The homeowner understood what could happen if he had ignored the crack and allowed the problem to get worse, so he had a proper inspection of the situation completed. Understanding each of the factors involved in the situation our specialist decided the best solution would be to use Earth Anchors to retain and strengthen the foundation walls. This solution made sense because the foundation walls required permanent support and there was room around the exterior of the home to allow our crews to dig down to where the ends of the Earth Anchors would be set in the ground. This solution was efficiently installed with little disturbance to the owner's landscaping. The foundation is now permanently secure and the homeowner can feel more comfortable in their home.
