As visible in the 'before' photo, the sono tubes were improperly cut and tied into the floor, demanding urgent attention for safety and usability. A DBS Design Specialist went to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, the Design Specialist recommended our Geo-Lock® Wall Anchor System.

Foreman Jacob Nustad led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed Geo-Lock® anchors on the inside of the basement walls in order to permanently stabilize the basement walls. The Geo-Lock® works to lock the anchors from the outside through soil as there is another anchor buried in the soil outside parallel to the one on the inside. 

Now that the basement walls have been stabilized, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind. 

The area shown in this basement was having bad issues with moisture. As you can clearly tell the walls had become moldy which typically prompts health concerns for the home's inhabitors. These concerns are well founded and it is important to address issues like this as soon as they appear. DBS Residential Solutions helps to kill mold like this in our customer's homes and prevent it from happening again. We do this by using our "MoldX" spray formula to kill the existing mold and then we create a dry basement environment so that the mold does not have access to the moisture level necessary to thrive once again. To reduce the water present in this basement we installed a drain tile which is connected to this SuperSump which drains all of that water that enters it far away from the home.

These two products work together to direct water away from the crawl space into a new SuperSump® Premier Pump System. To further prevent moisture and the growth of mold, TerraBlock™ insulation and closed-cell spray foam were installed to fully seal and regulate temperature in the space.
