Home With Sinking Dining Room Floor in Magee, MS

This customer was not even able to use their dining room because their floors were sinking so bad due to excessive moisture in their crawlspace. We were able to assist this customer in finding a good contractor to replace their floors. Once they were completed we came in with an encapsulation system to reduce moisture to ensure they never have this problem again!

Encapsulation in Magee, MS

Our CleanSpace Liner makes a huge difference for the underside of homes! As you can see, the previous liner was in rough condition and allowing moisture and mold to thrive, downsides that do not exist when the CleanSpace Liner is in your crawl space!

These homeowners reached out to us and explained their exciting plans to remodel their home soon, but they knew something was off with their home. The home is on a conventional foundation, but the floors had some unusual sloping they couldn't ignore. We sent one of our design specialists, Corey, out and had him take a look at the entire underside of the home to finalize the cause. We've seen it many, many times, and once again it looked like a humid crawl space was affecting the above floor joists. It also wasn't helping that these weak joists had not as much support as they obviously needed. We wanted all their remodeling work to go toward a safe and secure home, so we recommended them our encapsulation system, paired with the support of our SmartJack system. The white liner you see is our durable CleanSpace Liner that acts as a barrier against ground and outside moisture. The dehumidifier is designed with crawl spaces in mind and automatically maintains the humidity as a safe percentage. The installed sump pump will keep any collected water seepage and send it away from the crawl space. These are the main components of the encapsulation system. Lastly we installed the Smart Jacks, a permanent form of stabilization for the weaker areas of the crawl space. Starting remodeling projects can be an endeavor filled with uncertainty, but we ensured that for this homeowner, a reliable and secured crawlspace was one certain thing they could count upon!

Drying Out a Crawlspace

It's hard to believe these two images were taken under the same home! This homeowner unfortunately put a good chunk of change into a french drain and standard vapor barrier, but she continued to find water in her crawlspace. In the provided images, you can see the old liner now replaced with our durable CleanSpace Liner that will hold strong against moisture. This is combined with a crawlspace dehumidifier and sump pump, both working from different angles to send water and humidity out of the crawlspace. We are happy that we could finally provide this home with a permanent fix.

Moisture Barrier Upgrade in Byram, Mississippi

This home in central Mississippi was having issues with moisture buildup in the crawl space. They had a 6 mil plastic liner on the ground, but it was not helping with any of the moisture. The sub floors of his home were completely rotted out and had to be replaced. He saw one of our trucks on the road one day and gave us a call to see if we could help fix his crawl space. Our solutions for under the home are proven to work and we created a proposal for him to look over. We have great resources that explain why moisture builds up in the first place and how our solutions combat that. We were able to install our encapsulation system under his home and remove the old, nasty plastic that was lining the crawl space. Now, his crawl space is dry, clean, and protected. We left with a happy customer!
