When we originally entered this crawl space, we found bit of a mess, most noticeably, a lot of falling insulation. The moist and humid crawl space has soaked the insulation, weighing it down and dragging it downward. All of this wet insulation contributed greatly to the moisture problem and the moisture damage that led these homeowners to needing to replace their floors. That is a very unfortunate result, but we're showed up to make sure they never need to go that route again! Our encapsulation system fights moisture from all different angles. By sealing off the crawl space and turning it into a regulated, dry environment, the insulation will not even need to be replaced! Check out the major change in the provided pictures.

This crawlspace was set right above our 12" benchmark to install an encapsulation. Anything under 12" is too low for our guys and products to get under. 

This house originally had lattice work wrapped around the perimeter of the crawlspace, leaving it susceptible to outside air. Thankfully, the homeowner had this bricked in, in anticipation of the encapsulation. Once this was done, our guys came out and installed our encapsulation system utilizing the sump pump, dehumidifier, drainage matting, and 20 mil liner. Now this crawlspace will be able to dry out without the influence of humidity and ground water seepage.

This once wet and humid crawl space has been transformed by both our encapsulation and smartjack systems. The CleanSpace Liner you see throughout the whole underside of the home is helping tackle the moisture problem. It is much more durable than your average vapor barrier, and is tightly secured to the walls and floors of the space. Also seen in the photo is one of our smart jacks. These act as a permanent support system for the joists/floors that were already affected by the moisture. They can even be adjusted to fit the home's needs as it shift throughout the years. Unseen in the photo is our crawl space dehumidifier and sump pump system, which both also work towards keeping the space dry and healthy. Great job to our design specialists and crew members who planned and installed this job!

Here is a before and after of a crawl space we encapsulated in Basile, LA, featuring one of our dedicated crew members! The crawl space was low and tight, but we were still able to do what we needed to do to make sure this home stays protected against all forms of moisture. In the after image, you'll see our durable CleanSpace Liner that has been laid across the entire crawl space and its supports, acting as a shield against the ground water that came from the once fully exposed soil. We're very proud of their consistent work even in tough conditions!

Our CleanSpace Liner is a vital part of our overall encapsulation system and really goes above and beyond your standard vapor barrier. This much more durable liner isn't just thrown on top of the crawl space floor, but is wrapped around all of the walls and supports of the crawl space as well. In combination with our drainage matting, ground and wall moisture seepage can be blocked out and collected. This encapsulation was designed by one of our specialists, Scottie, and installed by our foreman, David, and his talented crew!
