Crawl Space Encapsulation in Burlington, KS

Donna W. is a homeowner in Burlington, KS, and wanted her crawl space encapsulated to prevent moisture and mold from entering her home. Often, crawl spaces that aren’t properly sealed have a severe impact on the efficiency of the home and cause the air to become harmful. After reviewing our reputation and meeting with one of our System Design Specialists, Donna instantly knew we were the company to provide the best permanent solution.

Our crews arrived at the home in Burlington, KS, and fully encapsulated the crawl space using our CleanSpace waterproof barrier, installing drain tile around the perimeter, and burying all downspouts to ensure the space stays dry year-round. Donna couldn’t have been more pleased with her Thrasher experience and the efficiency of our crews. She was genuinely concerned about the safety of her home, and she now has restored peace of mind knowing her home is permanently safe.

Elk Creek, NE Basement Saved with WaterGuard and PowerBraces

Since the 1940s Brad B.’s family has had a farmhouse. After moving into the home, he wanted to use the basement as storage, but for as long as he could remember the basement had water issues. Wanting to preserve the home, Brad’s neighbor recommended giving us a call.

We had System Design Specialist, Trevor Stokes go to his home and evaluate the problem. He was able to identify that water intrusion and bowing was occurring on three of the walls. The existing beams in the basement on some of the walls were failing as well. We fixed the problem by installing a WaterGuard system with TripleSafe to take care of the water intrusion. We also used a combination of anchors and PowerBraces to permanently stabilize the walls. The basement is completely waterproofed, and the walls are braced, giving Brad a piece of mind.

Basement Waterproofing in Granville, IA

Roger and Lisa F. are proud homeowners in Granville, IA but their basement had become a nonfunctional space due to a surplus of moisture seeping in. The basement had developed into a musty and damp area they felt wasn’t a healthy enough environment to be used. However, they wanted to be able to utilize the space for living, storage, and as a playroom for their grandchildren. Roger and Lisa were familiar with our reputation of wet basement repair, and they were thrilled with the solutions we offered.

To begin the basement project, our System design Specialist Jeff McCormick arrived at the Granville, IA home to perform a thorough inspection. Roger and Lisa opted to have Thrasher install a combination of our basement waterproofing products to guarantee the space stays dry year-round. Our team began by installing our WaterGuard interior drainage system around the full perimeter of the basement. CleanSpace waterproof barrier was then applied to all the walls to prevent any moisture from seeping through the cracks. To discharge the collected water outside, two TripleSafe sump pump systems were installed. Lastly, the team installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to prevent any mold growth, eliminate odors, and to keep humidity levels under control.

Roger and Lisa were ecstatic with the outcome of the project. They couldn’t believe the effectiveness and efficiency of the waterproofing solutions we offer. Thrasher was able to transform their unusable basement into a highly functional space for them and their family.

Failed Sump Pump in Elkhorn, NE

This customer had a failed sump pump that he inherited when he moved in. Because he has a lot of home projects going on right now, he didn't want to worry about the pumps moving forward. He wanted it fixed, fixed now, and fixed right. He had Thrasher protect his previous house and knew he wanted another Thrasher system in his new home. So we sent Tony Taylor to his home to inspect the sump pump situation.

He found that the primary pump had failed and was in two pieces at the pit's bottom. The battery backup attempted to keep the water down but slowly lost the battle with a moderate amount of rain. Upon arrival, we immediately switched out his failed pump and battery backup with a Zoeller M53 pump and an UltraSump battery backup system. After showing him his current pit and what a TripleSafe pit would be able to do for him, he decided to replace it with a TripleSafe and add in a second pump and replace the liner with something more functional that could collect and discharge the water better.
