Water Entering Basement, Littleton, MA
This homeowner in Littleton, Massachusetts was experiencing water entering their basement. The homeowners have discovered a hole in their foundation that is 2" wide by 5" high and are looking for a solution. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection.
Design Specialist Stephen Caron inspected the basement and the cracks in the foundation. Stephen came up with a solution and recommended installing Geolocks, Water Guard, NexusPro, and a Sani Dry into the basement. The reason that Stephen felt it was necessary to have Geolocks installed was that on the outside of the home the foundation walls are cracking due to hydrostatic pressure.
Crew Lead Chris Tremblay and his team arrived at the home and installed Geolocks, Water Guard, NexusPro, and a Sani Dry into the basement.

Barn Wall Stabilization, Danbury, NH
A homeowner in Danbury, New Hampshire noticed that the stairs in his barn have been shifting out of place over the years. His cobblestone wall had also been bowing inwards, which was of big concern. With this barn being used for livestock and storage, it was essential that it got the proper support.
Our Design Specialist, Jason Vachon, recommended installing an auxiliary wall along with our GeoLock wall anchor system. This system prevents the foundation wall from continuing to bow and lean in, and can also even straighten the wall. This system is installed by first putting the auxiliary wall in place. Once the concrete has dried, galvanized steel plates are attached to the wall and a steel rod is connected and then drilled through the soil. Once durable soil is found, an anchor is connected to the rod. This supports and stabilizes the auxiliary wall.
With this system in place, the barn is now receiving the proper support and stability. This will put an end to bowing and wall cracks, and will definitely stop the wall from collapsing. This homeowner can have peace of mind that his livestock and storage will stay safe.
