Our Design Specialist, Debra Rayborn, recommended installing FlexiSpan and NexusPro to seal cracks and waterproof the basement. The FlexiSpan wall crack repair system is a three-step process starting with the application of a pliable sealant across the entire length of the crack. Subsequently, a strip of porous, flexible foam is placed over the crack. The final step involves attaching an impermeable membrane to the wall on both sides of the foam strip. This robust treatment ensures that any water seeping through the crack in the future will discreetly travel down the wall and into the basement's perimeter drainage system. NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant designed for joints and cracks, offering enduring flexibility and resilience against severe weather conditions. It was installed to the floor cracks to prevent water seepage.

This crack repair treatment, in conjunction with the homeowner's current sump pump system, will ensure the basement remains dry at all times, providing the homeowner with peace of mind.
