Brick Pillars to be Replaced, Cambridge, MA

A property management group was managing a building in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The building had experienced sagging floors and some minor foundation wall cracking. The management group and the tenants decided to contact EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist recommended removing all of the brick pillars in the basement and replacing them with SmartJacks. 

SmartJacks Installed in Basement, Cambridge, MA

A homeowner in Cambridge, Massachusetts, recently had their daughter move back into their home. When she moved back in she was putting some things in the basement and noticed some deterioration of the brick and mortar in the basement. She pointed it out to her parents and they decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist recommended installing SmartJacks with a Supplemental beam to add support to the floor system of the home. 

Medford, MA Bowing Wall Repair

This condo complex had structural issues due to bowing walls and sagging beams in the basement. In the first photo, you can see how the wall bows out at the bottom of the wall and the sagging beams at the top. After Erickson Foundation Supportworks completed the job, you can see in the second photo the added PowerBraces and new SmartJacks that were added. With these added features, the wall is now permanently stabilized and won't ever move again.

Push Pier Installation, Medford, MA

This homeowner in Medford, Massachusetts was experiencing stair-step cracks in their foundation wall. Our design specialist proposed Push Piers to strengthen the foundation and if possible, get some lift to offset the settlement. Our production team successfully installed the piers as needed and fully stabilized the home against any future settlement. The owners had peace of mind that the stair step cracks would no longer be an issue, and their home was protected against settlement concerns.

Sagging Floors, Medford, MA

This homeowner in Medford, Massachusetts was experiencing some sagging on their main floor. The homeowners are planning on renovating the main floor soon so they would like to eliminate the sagging of the main floor. To make sure they would fix the sag correctly the homeowner called EFS for a free inspection. 

The design specialist arrived at the home and inspected the home. The design specialist recommended installing SmartJacks in the basement to support the main beam.
