Late 1800's Home Had Tree Logs as Supports, Wakefield, MA

A homeowner in Wakefield, Massachusetts, had tree logs as supports in their late 1800s home. The trees had deteriorated over the years and the homeowners had noticed a sag in their main floor. They called EFS for a free inspection, and our design specialist recommended replacing the tree logs. 

Smart Jacks System, Melrose, MA

This homeowner in Melrose, Massachusetts had some cracks in the wall and ceiling. They also noticed sloping on the floor on the main level. Design Specialist John Prince came to the home and found that they only have one support in their basement, so he proposed that the homeowners have Smart Jacks installed in their basement. Crew Lead Nick Melo and his team came to the home to install Smart Jacks into the basement and repaired the cracks in the walls. 

Poly Wall Restoration, Melrose, MA

This homeowner in Melrose, Massachusetts had an issue where water from a previous storm had entered the basement, pests had been eating the sill, and some of the mortar is cracking/ breaking. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection.

Design Specialist Chris Greenwood inspected the homeowners' basement. Chris recommended installing Poly Wall Restoration to the walls of the basement. 

 

Main Beam Sagging, Melrose, MA

This homeowner in Melrose, Massachusetts was experiencing sagging in the main support beam of their home. They would like to have the main beam repaired so it doesn't get any worse. The homeowners consider this their forever home and want to make sure the home stays in good condition. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection.

Design Specialist Kenny Calabrese inspected the basement and looked specifically at the main beam in the basement. Kenny recommended installing SmartJacks along the main beam in the basement.  

Crew Lead Ed Nadreau and his team installed 4 SmartJacks under the main support beam in the basement. 

GeoLocks and Push Piers Installed, Melrose, MA

A homeowner in Melrose, Massachusetts, had found a large crack in their foundation wall that they were concerned with. The homeowners called EFS for a free inspection of their foundation. Our Design Specialist/ Project Manager Nate Erickson inspected the home and found that the home was settling and had caused the foundation to crack and begin to bow. Nate recommended installing GeoLocks and Push Piers to the foundation of the home to stabilize the wall and foundation from bowing and settling.
