After several heavy rainfalls, this Havre De Grace, MD homeowner began to notice that water was slowly making its way into the basement, leaving behind damp walls and pooling along the floor. During our inspection, our System Design Specialist identified poor drainage around the foundation as the primary cause of the seepage and developed a dynamic waterproofing plan tailored to the home’s specific needs.

To permanently resolve the issue, the crew installed our patented WaterGuard Drainage System, designed to capture and direct groundwater to our TripleSafe Sump Pump System for efficient removal. This triple-pump design ensures the basement remains protected even during heavy storms or power outages. To further safeguard the discharge line during freezing temperatures, we added our IceGuard Discharge Line, which prevents backups and allows water to safely exit the home year-round.

Floors above the crawlspace were beginning to sag in this new homeowner's home. We came out, and it was determined that the crawl space needed a little more work than she had inspected.

There was moisture in the crawl space, causing areas of mold, so first we treated the mold with a Mold X Treatment, then we installed a SilverGlo insulation, CleanSpace vapor barrier, drainage matting, waterguard, a Smart Sump with floor alarm and Sani Dry Sedona dehumidifier. The floors above the crawl space had failing joist supports and rotted sill plates, so we corrected the issue by replacing 11 sill plates, installing 5 Supplemental Steal Beams and 9 Smart Jacks.

Overtime this New Holland, PA, homeowner became increasingly worried about persistent water seepage in their basement, which had begun to create a damp, musty environment and raised concerns about potential mold growth and structural damage.
