We recommended our Crawl Space Reinforcing System to provide a solution for the sagging crawl space beams in the area underneath this home. The SmartJacks provide additional support to each crawl space beams and floor joist. They are adjusted yearly to gradually bring the beams back toward their original level and prevent future sagging. 

The owner of this home met with an engineer who told her that she had foundation problems in her home. This homeowner in the Skillman, NJ noticed their basement walls were bowing inwards. They were concerned for the integrity of their foundation and wanted an opinion from a foundation specialist. Quality 1st Basement Systems sent Foundation Specialist Mike, to inspect the basement walls and provide a solution. Upon inspection, Mike noticed the horizontal cracking was a major sign of foundation movement which happens as temperatures outside change. This homeowner in the Hillsborough, NJ hired Quality 1st Basement Systems to waterproof their partially finished basement and address the concerns they had with their block foundation. The block foundation walls had horizontal cracks and began bowing inward. We installed our CarbonArmor Reinforcement System which stabilizes the basement wall and prevents future movement. Jeff explained that cracks form when the soil beneath your home is no longer strong enough to support the foundation, and therefore when the foundation shifts, cracks form from the movement. Ignoring cracks in a foundation will only increase the chances of the foundation becoming unstable and unsafe. Jeff designed a solution where  16 Push Piers would be installed on the outside of the foundation, deep in the strong soil to transfer the weight of the home to the piers to prevent further settling and movement.
