Installing A Dual System With DryTrak In a Wet Basement - Bloomingburg, NY

This homeowner contacted us to see what could be done to remedy the water problem they were having in there basement. Our Design Specialist came out to assess what was wrong with their home. In the process of assessing their home, he found out they had a monolithic foundation. He was able to determine this by seeing that there was a full exposed block where the floor and wall meet, this indicated to him that the floor was poured first and then the wall was built on top of it, which is not a traditional way to build a home. The traditional way to construct a home is to pour the footing, then the wall and lastly pour the floor. A home is traditionally built this way as the footing is the most important part of the home. Due to this if a traditional waterproofing system was to be installed the structural integrity of the home would be compromised, as a third of the footing would be removed. Due to this home having a monolithic foundation we needed to install our patented Dual System with DryTrak.

In this situation, we needed to install our Dual System to stop water from coming in at the floor joints, floor cracks and to alleviate water from coming up under the floor due to hydrostatic pressure. In order to install our Dual System with DryTrak, we had to jackhammer one foot away from the wall, by doing this we can create a footing that does not compromise the structural integrity of the home. By doing this we can eliminate water coming up through the slab due to the creation of the path of least resistance, as well due to DryTrak water will be stopped at the wall-floor joint. In order to implement Drytrak with our Dual System, we needed to grind the wall-floor joint to allow for maximum adherence of epoxy. We then cleaned the surface to perfection, and then finally apply epoxy to the wall-floor joint to run DryTrak around the perimeter of the basement, by doing this we will be able to catch any water that penetrates their home and direct it to the sump pump. Waterproofing a Finished Basement With Our Patented FlowGuard System And a Gravity Discharge - Goshen, NY

This homeowner had contacted us about two and half years ago saying they thought they had a leak in their basement. Our Specialist then went out and evaluated their home, upon his evaluation he was able to confirm their thoughts about a plumbing leak, he as well mentioned to them that there were a couple of signs that concerned him about their being potentially a bigger water problem in the future. Two years later our Specialist received a call again from the homeowner that their basement was taking on an extreme amount of water due to the issues that our Specialist had pointed out during his previous evaluation. He was able to figure out that they had a lot of hydrostatic pressure pushing water up into their basement.

For us to fix the problem at hand for this homeowner to ensure that their home stays dry regardless of the season, as well as the amount of rain or snow they get we installed one of our patented waterproofing systems, which is comprised of 160 feet of FlowGuard, an under slab system with a lateral that spaned from the back part of their basement to our sump basin. Finally to make sure that all water caught by our waterproofing system would be directed out of the home we installed a SuperSump basin with approximately 220 feet of gravity discharged, which would run in front of their home to the front right-hand corner of the property where it would discharge into their pond.

Pouring A New Slab At Our Office - Bullville, NY

Just as we are always improving the lives of our clients and bringing peace of mind to them we are always improving our shop. Our team needed a dedicated area to keep materials, supplies, and miscellaneous tools/vehicles. Because of this need, we decided the best thing to do was to pour a new concrete slab that would be dedicated to these items. We now have one area where all our items can be stored, instead of them being stored in multiple locations throughout the shop.

Helping With Waterproofing and Structural Problems - Pine Bush, Ny

These homeowners were looking to transform their basement from the mess it was to a beautiful useable area. Because their home is located on a hill they have many issues with water coming into their home, as well as issues with the structural integrity of their foundation due to settlement from both the earth itself and water running down the pitch in their backyard.

in order to remedy the issues at hand that they were having and to bring their basement back to a beautiful usable space, we needed to install a multitude of our patented products. More specifically we installed our WaterGuard Sub-Floor Drainage System with our TripleSafe sump pump with an 80' gravity line to redirect any water that would come in throughout the year. We then installed our SmartJacks support system to undo the damage that had been created by the settlement of the home, as well the water damage that had created the foundation issues, along with this we parged the walls to remove all the water stains that had been created over the years and bring them back to their former glory. Finally, we ripped out their old windows that had been destroyed by mother nature and the settlement of their home and installed five custom windows.

Not even 24 hours after completing this project we received a tremendous amount of rain and before leaving the homeowners were so glad that they had the work done because with the amount of rain that we received their basement would usually be soaked, vs now their basement is bone dry.

Installing FlowGuard Perimeter Waterproofing Systems With BrightWall and A Triple Safe Sump Pump - Pine Bush, NY

This homeowner just recently purchased this home and was gutting it. During their inspection period, they were made aware that they were going to need to waterproof their basement as it had a significant water issue. Because of this, they contacted us to see what could be done in order to remedy the water issue they were having, as well as transform their basement into a beautiful usable space.

In order to remedy the problem at hand as well as accomplish the task of transforming their basement, we implemented four different systems which tied directly into each other. The systems that we installed were our patented FlowGuard waterproofing perimeter system along with Brightwall, these two systems were then tied directly into our TripleSafe sump pump system with a discharge line out to daylight. By implementing these systems together we are able to catch any and all water that would/can penetrate their home and divert it to their new sump pump, all while keeping their basement bright and beautiful.

Since installing these systems the homeowners have noticed an overall improvement in their quality of life, but more importantly to them, they now have a beautiful brand new basement that they can use for storage space, a play place, and entertaining space. They could not have been more thrilled with how the final product came out.
