A gradual sag in the living room floor started to frustrate the homeowners that lead them to find us. We assessed the problem and fixed it by supporting the floor and slightly lifting it back into place.

This Hillsborough home was experiencing sagging floors and structural instability due to unsupported floor joists in the crawl space. As shown in the "before" photo, there were signs of shifting and inadequate support including makeshift cinder blocks and exposed soil, which offered no long-term protection or reliability.

To permanently resolve the issue, our team installed a reliable SmartJack system. The "after" photo shows the secure galvanized steel jack anchored on a pre-engineered footing designed to lift and stabilize the floor system. Now, this homeowner can enjoy a level floor and lasting peace of mind knowing their crawl space is fully supported.

This historic home in West Hillsborough, NC showed signs of structural concern in the crawl space, where existing support jacks had been identified as temporary and no longer adequate to properly support the home. The homeowner also experienced moisture issues during the summer months, raising concerns about long-term stability and crawl space conditions.

After a thorough inspection, our team recommended installing SmartJack support posts, a permanent solution designed to stabilize sagging floors and reinforce crawl space support beams. To restore this homes settling foundation, our team installed our Foundation Helical Pier System. The piers are driven deep into the ground and attached to the footing of the home. Once lift and stabilization is achieved, the pier location is filled with soil. 

This Chapel Hill crawl space underwent a full transformation with the installation of helical piers and a CleanSpace vapor barrier system. The helical piers were strategically installed beneath the foundation to permanently stabilize and support the structure, addressing signs of settlement and preventing future movement. Once stabilization was complete, the crawl space was encapsulated with a CleanSpace vapor barriercreating a sealed, moisture-controlled environment. This system not only improves air quality and energy efficiency but also protects the home from mold, humidity, and structural damage.
