Seen in the before picture is the side of the brick house that was sinking into unstable soil. This was causing stair-step cracking in the bricks and sticky windows. If left untreated, the bricks on the side of the house could eventually fall off completely, as we have seen before. It's important to catch this problem early on, that way we can actually raise the foundation back without hurting the siding of your house. When we attach the piers, we have a handheld hydraulic device that can raise the foundation back slowly. We were able to close the cracks and fix the sticky windows. This beautiful brick house won't have to worry about settlement anymore.

This pier underpinning project to stabilize this sinking foundation required us to tear down a fake wall. This homeowner was a previous client of ours when we stabilized the backside of their garage.
