Levelling Out This Settled Driveway in Listowel, ON

This beautiful home in Listowel, Ontario, had a problematic driveway composed of large concrete slabs. The driveway had settled to the point that it started to reveal problems:

  1. The garage threshold had a lip from the sinking at the front, making it slightly challenging for the homeowners to drive in and out.
  2. The concrete around the porch's base had also settled, exposing the home's foundation.
  3. The concrete slabs running along the driveway had each settled, meaning they were all scattered at different heights, making tripping much easier.

After researching, they found Canadia Concrete Leveling to do the work they were looking to get done. So we had our Project Manager, Andy Moncrieff, arrive at the home to start his quoting process. He quoted the owners for polyurethane injections at the base of the porch, the lip of the garage threshold, and a few of the concrete slabs running on the driveway to make sure they all level with each other. After the quote was complete, our Installation Duo, Kyle and JP arrived at the home to begin the work. How will we level the concrete, you ask? We will use our PolyLevel® polyurethane injections to fill in the voids underneath and lift the concrete back to its original height. JP and Kyle worked so efficiently to lift the concrete that the homeowners were amazed. The work took less than an hour, and the clean-up was immaculate. As a result, this driveway is safer and more level than before.

PolyLevel® for Hazardous Front Walkway, Guelph, Ontario

Make your walk into your home a breeze, and not worry about tripping or falling on your way inside. In Guelph, Ontario, our client had a concrete walkway sinking to different heights in various sections. This caused elderly family members and guests to trip over the slabs when coming and going from the home. Project Manager Andy Moncrieff visited the house and agreed that the slabs needed to be levelled as soon as possible to make the home safe. With our PolyLevel® injections done by Installation Specialist Kyle McKeown, the slabs were lifted to a perfectly levelled position. The process took under an hour to set up, install, and cure. The clients were taken aback by how the uneven concrete rose with ease.

Pool Deck Repair in Guelph, Ontario

A pool deck in Guelph, Ontario, has seen better days. The deck was a significant tripping hazard, especially for barefoot guests, and the concrete was wet. Canadian Concrete Leveling was called to provide a cost-effective and quick solution without having the homeowners replace the whole deck.

Our Project Manager, Andy Moncrieff, had stopped by the home to create a schematic of what work needed to be done and where it would take place around the pool deck. Even though the process may be fast and straightforward, you need to know exactly where to let the concrete without damaging anything surrounding it, like the inner pool walls.

On a later day, our installation team, Kyle McKeown and Russell, started the PolyLevel® injections to lift the slabs to their original spot. Progressing to the next portion of the job was replacing the floor-to-wall joint sealant located on the side of the home. The existing bond has deteriorated that it is compromising the home's foundation. Next, Kyle and Russell applied our malleable, non-drying, chemical and water-resistant sealant called NexusPro®. This sealant protects the joints, provides a clean finish to your concrete and elevates its appeal.

After the work was completed, the homeowners were thrilled about the entire process. They mentioned that it was a seamless process from start to finish and how open the communication was the whole time. The work did not disrupt the foot traffic and was completed in under 15 minutes. The pool is saved!

Sinking Floor in Guelph, ON

The floor in a basement room in Guelph, Ontario had begun to sink, causing a 2-inch gap between the wall trim and the concrete floor.  Water was leaking in, and it started to rip the carpet on the floor. The cement pad was also cracking underneath. The customers home office was in that room. He relied heavily on that room for his business, but due to the water, he couldn’t have his equipment in there. He needed a quick fix so he could continue to run his business with no future issues. The builders of the home told the customer they would find the best company to fix the problem. The Canadian Concrete Leveling team was more than happy to figure out a solution for this customer's home. We came in and used our PolyLevel® Injection to fix the problem.  It leveled out the floor, which means that there will be no more water, and the concrete slab floor won’t crack again! The floor is now stable, and our customer can continue his business without any worries of future sinking.  The process was natural and non-invasive, it only took 30 minutes.

PolyLevel® Basement Window / Sloped Driveway | Burlington, Ontario

Our client in Burlington, Ontario, had a driveway that was a tripping and water pooling hazard. This driveway was bowing toward the house, causing a hazardous lip when entering the front entrance and exposing the home’s foundation. The sloping also left the basement door vulnerable since the foundation underneath the windowsill was exposed too. As a result, the whole side of the house was essentially susceptible to water. This problem had to be fixed as soon as possible to avoid intense foundation repairs. With the help of Project Manager Danny Dos Santos giving schematics and a plan, and Installation Supervisor Bill McKeown, the problematic driveway was fixed in under 15 minutes, thanks to our PolyLevel®!
