To prevent water from seeping into this basement from under the door, we installed our TrenchDrain Surface Drainage System. The TrenchDrain system is a lightweight, prefabricated trench drain that is designed to quickly and efficiently collect water from under the door and is directed to the sump pump to be drained out of the home. 

Before, this Pittsburgh basement was a victim of constant water intrusion, damaging walls as shown. Our rescue operation? Installing WaterGuard for efficient drainage, TripleSafe Sump Pump and UltraSump System for unbeatable water evacuation, wrapped up with CleanSpace wall protection. Sump pump discharge lines can freeze, especially in the northern regions. Pipe terminations can become covered with snow and ice in the winter. This can spell disaster for your basement if the sump pump water cannot exit the line outside. The IceGuard system allows water to escape from a sump pump discharge line if the pipe freezes or becomes blocked for any reason. Even if the pipe outlet is buried under a foot of ice and snow, the water can escape, allowing the sump pump to keep your basement dry.

In this photo we can see that BrightWall already exists on the walls, but there is a gap.  The gap is temporary there until the plumbing is done by the homeowner and then the last panel is inserted.
