Our foremen Cedrick and Colin were tasked with this big job and headed to the site in Thetford Mines to complete the installation. They first dug trenches along the foundation walls in the basement and a pit for the sump pump. They then installed the WaterGuard® Basement Drainage System in the trenches, as well as the SuperSump® Premier Sump Pump System in its pit. The WaterGuard is designed to capture water seepage through walls and leaks along the wall/floor joint and directs it to the sump pump. They then installed the CleanSpace® Basement Finishing Wall System all over the basement walls. This system creates an effective moisture and vapor barrier. The wall covering forces all wall seepage and moisture to flow into your perimeter drain system. Finally, they installed the PowerBrace™ Foundation Wall Repair System. This patented foundation wall repair system is designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time.
