This basement in Varennes was suffering from as high humidity, moisture and growth of mold. When our team went to check up the place, they realized that this house did not have any sump pump installed in the basement which is allowing all the water to seep in during winter time.

So we suggested the installation of a sump pump right away, in order to waterproof the place.

Our SuperSump pump is very efficient and will protect the house fully against water flood and mold growth.

In addition it has a built-in alarm alerts when water level rises too high, and a strong, airtight sump cover lid that is child-safe and keeps out insects, odors and radon gas.

The problem: The customer did not have a sump pump. So he wanted to add one and while researching the web, he stumbled upon our business and decided to call us in order to receive a free estimate.

The solution: We installed our SuperSump which is one of our best sump pumps. In addition, we installed a discharge line for him to keep the water away from the house.

We have completely encapsulated this crawl space by installing our CleanSpace Drain Mat under our CleanSpace Anti-mold Steam Membrane. Then we installed an UltraSump booster pump that runs on battery power during power outages. Subsequently, we solidified the crawl space structure by installing 9 SmartJack pillars and 24 PowerBrace support beams. To finalize it all, we added IceGuard and LawnScape accessories to the dump line to provide extra safety against flooding.

Problem

Water was still to seep into our client's basement, despite him redoing his french drain recently. During the free inspection, our specialist Jorge explained that the French drain, despite its popularity, can have certain limitations. It can get clogged due to the accumulation of soil inside. Besides, its maintenance is costly and time-consuming, which requires excavation.

Solution

- We installed the WaterGuard interior drainage system around the perimeter of the basement, on the foundation footing. The WaterGuard pipes have a 3/8-inch protruding flange to channel water from the walls directly into the system. Additionally, the WaterGuard system features a series of openings for easy access to the drains for cleaning, inspection, or repairs.

- We connected the drain to our revolutionary SuperSump sump pump, which, thanks to the Zoeller pump, can absorb up to approximately 14,500 liters of water per hour.

- We installed a discharge line with our IceGuard system to prevent any flooding in case of freezing of the discharge line.

Mr. Michel from Saint-André-Avellin informed us that he was having problems in his basement since the day he relocated to his new house.

All the cracks he had in the foundation were letting water to infiltrate causing too much moisture and mold in the place.
