These Chapel Hill, TN homeowners were concerned with the separation in their basement's foundational walls. They had noticed some cracks and gaps between foundation blocks and decided to give us a call to come inspect the issue. Upon finishing the inspection, it was decided that the home needed some additional foundation support. We installed I-Beam Wall Braces along the basement walls. The homeowner was left satisfied with the quality of work that was completed. 

This customer in Chapel Hill, TN had foundation settlement issues in his basement. The walls were cracking, bowing, and tilting. Foundation walls are designed to support loads from above, not from the side. When side pressure on your walls exceeds their ability to withstand the force, they will begin to crack, bow, slide in at the bottom, and/or tilt in at the top. To fix this issue we installed a Wall Anchor System. This included Geo-Lock Wall Anchors as indicated using a 5 ft channel wall support and small earth anchors. This will permanently stabilize his base walls and stop any further damage to the home.

The family had contemplated putting the house on the market but a sag in the floors caused some concern. Our inspector went under the house to check the supports of the home; sure enough there was a problem. The joist was not able to hold the weight. A sister joist was installed to reinforce the flooring and make this floor safer.

This family was experiencing sagging floors and as they are preparing to sell the home this was a problem that needed a reliable solution.
