Ice Guard Sump Pump Discharge Line Installed in Winneconne, WI

Ice Guard was installed on a sump pump discharge line to prevent water exiting the sump pump from freezing. Sump pump discharge lines are fed outside the home, meaning it's possible they could freeze during the cold winter months. A backed-up discharge line means your sump pump won't work properly in the event of water in your basement, which will make the flooding much worse. Our solution to this problem is the IceGuard® discharge line system.

The IceGuard® fits over the top of your discharge line to provide water with a secondary escape route. When the main line is working correctly, water simply flows out as usual. However, when the discharge line is frozen, the IceGuard® allows water to escape through slotted openings in the drain pipe. This ensures that any water your sump pump is removing from your basement is safely cleared away outside your home, preventing any backed-up or frozen lines. The IceGuard® is compatible with all our sump pump systems.

TripleSafe Sump Pump Installation with Battery Back-up In Winneconne, WI

Before:
A homeowner in Winneconne saw water along the wall–floor (cove) joint after storms, plus elevated humidity and a musty odor that lingered in the living space. With an older pump, they also worried about reliability during power flickers.

After:
We installed WaterGuard® interior perimeter drainage to intercept seepage at the cove joint and route it to a TripleSafe® sump system (primary, secondary, and battery-backup pumps under a sealed lid with alarm). To stabilize moisture in the air, we added a SaniDry™ dehumidifier set to maintain ~45–50% RH with a dedicated drain.

Now the basement stays clean, dry, and comfortable year-round—with dependable pumping during outages and steady humidity for better air quality.

Crawl Space Encapsulation In Winneconne, WI

Before:
A homeowner in Winneconne had a small, low-clearance crawl space beneath the front entry. Exposed soil and rim-joist air leaks led to musty odors, chilly floors in the foyer, and seasonal humidity that left light condensation on wood.

After:
We installed CleanSpace® to encapsulate the floor and walls (wrapping piers and sealing all seams), insulated the walls with SilverGlo® rigid foam, and air-sealed the rim joists and penetrations using RimTight™.

Now the crawl space is dry, sealed, and insulated—improving comfort at the entry, reducing odors, and helping the home hold a healthy humidity level.

Crawl Space Moisture Solutions in Winneconne, WI

Before:
A homeowner in Winneconne had a damp, musty crawl space with signs of wall movement: hairline/stair-step cracks and slight inward lean on a perimeter wall. Exposed soil drove humidity and odors into the living space, and the floors above felt cold—especially near the entry.

After:
We stabilized the problem wall with GeoLock® wall anchors set in stable soils beyond the backfill. Then we encapsulated the crawl with CleanSpace® (floor, walls, wrapped piers), insulated the walls with SilverGlo® rigid foam, installed a TripleSafe® sump system for redundant pumping protection, and added a SaniDry™ Sedona® dehumidifier set to maintain ~45–50% RH.

Now the crawl space is secure, dry, and insulated—improving comfort, air quality, and long-term protection for the home.

Egress Window Installation Completed in Winneconne, WI

Before:
A homeowner in Winneconne, WI, reached out to Sure-Dry to replace the deteriorating exterior well on their existing egress window. The old well had started to rust and separate from the foundation, allowing soil and debris to collect and restricting proper drainage. The homeowner wanted a clean, durable replacement that would improve both the appearance and performance of their egress system while maintaining reliable water protection around the foundation.

After:
Sure-Dry’s crew removed the old, damaged well and installed a new egress window well system designed for long-term strength and drainage efficiency. The upgraded well was fitted securely against the foundation, filled with drainage stone at the base, and finished with a clear protective cover to prevent water and debris buildup. The new installation not only enhanced the look of the home’s exterior but also provided improved water management and long-lasting durability.

The homeowner was pleased with how clean and professional the new window well looked and felt confident knowing their egress area is now properly protected and built to last.
