A customer in Northford, CT reached out to us at Connecticut Basement Systems because they had water seepage in their basement and needed a permanent solution. 

One of our Sales Consultants, Josh Kroop, went to the home to evaluate the issues and propose a full perimeter waterproofing system. 

Our Foreman, Moises Chantes, and his crew installed this job. In this before and after you see our WaterGuard drainage system that is below the floor (under the new cement) that will collect water and direct it into our sump pump. The SuperSump Plus that we installed will pump out all of that collected water from the home at a safe distance. Not pictured is another sump pump with our battery backup system as well as our Sedona dehumidifier. This was a large basement, so multiple of our products were needed to ensure this entire basement stayed dry all the time! 

A homeowner in Bloomfield, CT had old, rotten support posts in their crawlspace. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a new solution. One of our Salesmen, Thomas Woods, visited the home to assess the old supports and our SmartJack solution. 

Then it would be time for Victor and his crew to install this job. They removed the old, rotten support post and replaced it with one of our SmartJack crawlspace support posts for a permanent solution. 

Now the homeowner no longer needs to worry about rotten wood supports in their crawlspace. 

Before, this Bloomfield home had a wet basement every time it rained. The homeowner wanted to utilize his basement to its fullest potential where everyone can enjoy. Seeking a dry and finished basement, he decided to trust the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems.  

The solution was to install a WaterGuard System which is the ideal way to waterproof a basement. Paired with a SuperSump pump, this basement will stay dry all year around. EverLast half wall restoration was installed since the original walls had water damage. Finally, ThermalDry Parquet tile was installed to replace the original carpet. This new floor not only looks great, but is warmer and will not allow floor seepage to rise into the finished area. The homeowner was happy with the transformation and can now enjoy a dry, finished basement!

They installed our WaterGuard drain system around the entire perimeter of the basement to collect any water coming in from the walls or the floors. They also installed one of our TripleSafe sump pumps to take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. They installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls to protect them from moisture and lead any water from the walls into the drains below the floor. With these systems, this basement will stay dry all the time.

Soon after, Foreman Moises and his crew were ready to install this job. They installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls and floors throughout this crawlspace. Then, they installed our SilverGlo insulation on the walls to regulate the crawlspace's temperature. They also installed a new window. 

Now this crawlspace is free of water and moisture and completely insulated. The homeowner has great peace of mind!
