Zachary S. had a basement area of his Orlando, Florida home that continually had water intrusion issues and musty odors started penetrating his home. He called LRE Foundation Repair to help remediate his problems and make his house odor-free. After an inspection was completed, LRE determined faulty drainage around the exterior of his home was mainly to blame and designed the perfect solution to fix Zachary's problems once and for all. LRE installed CleanSpace Encapsulation technology which consists of vapor barriers, dehumidifiers, and other equipment to dry out the space and eliminate odors. LRE also added a drainage system by installing pipe and pop-up drains to divert water away from the basement and the home. Once the project was complete, the homeowner was more than happy with his spotless, odor-free basement and new drainage system that will eliminate water intrusion for good.

Mary from Orlando, Florida, reached out to LRE Foundation Repair to report that water was intruding into the sunroom next to her pool deck. She previously had a drainage system installed that proved to be ineffective, so she asked us to help design an alternative solution. One of our Design Specialists visited Mary’s home to inspect the issue and developed a plan to install an EZ Flow French drain system along the sunroom's exterior walls. This system would work to collect and redirect water to a relief drain away from the home. With Mary’s approval, our production team soon stepped in and began installing the French drain by removing the appropriate amount of soil in order to position the system below the surface. Once the system was in place, we carefully concealed the French drain to provide a seamless appearance. Mary’s sunroom now benefits from an effective solution to prevent further water intrusion, much to her relief.

Gary B. had experienced a lot of damage to his home after a hurricane struck the area in Orlando, Florida. Water damage had not only infiltrated the house, but also the crawlspace area causing musty odors and sagging floors. He decided to call LRE Foundation Repair for help. After an inspection of the home, LRE determined not only moisture from the storm had caused damage, but also failing wood joists and supports in the crawlspace attributed to the floors settling. LRE got to work in the crawlspace, removing and replacing wood joists, installing moisture barriers, insulation, and finishing the job with LumberKote, a protective sealer, to the whole area. Once complete, this homeowner was thrilled with a dry, odor-free crawlspace that's been stabilized for good. 

Lisa from Orlando, Florida, was alarmed when she observed stair-step cracking patterns developing along the walls inside her garage. Recognizing this as a serious issue, she promptly called us at LRE Foundation Repair for assistance. One of our Design Specialists visited Lisa’s home to conduct a full home inspection and found that a section of the foundation had settled due to the instability of the underlying soil, resulting in cracks in the walls. To lift the affected section of the foundation back into place and close the wall cracks, our team installed the helical pier system. Lisa was delighted to see the cracks in her garage’s walls now closed, and she can now feel at ease knowing that this section of her foundation is now permanently stabilized.

Koltan of Orlando, Florida, contacted LRE Foundation Repair for assistance in designing a new, effective drainage system after experiencing repeated flooding on his home's back patio. After completing a thorough full home inspection for Koltan, one of our knowledgeable Design Specialists advised him that standing water was not only a regular annoyance but also had a detrimental effect on his home's foundation and concrete. To alleviate the flooding issue, a plan was devised to install a sturdy channel drain that would run the whole length of the patio's concrete. Our team went to work, carefully measuring and removing the appropriate amount of concrete to correctly install the new channel drain, providing the patio with the perfect solution for eliminating any standing water. Koltan's patio is now appropriately equipped to weather strong rainstorms, and he can rest assured that his home's foundation and concrete are no longer at risk.
