A basement wall was failing, causing cracks to appear. To solve this issue, the PowerBrace System was installed. These I-beams work by stabilizing the walls in the basement by custom fitting to the wall. They are tightened to the wall through anchors on the basement floor and floor joists. This joist reinforcement method evenly distributes the load and effectively straightens the wall over time.  It is also a great non-invasive option since there is no drilling or digging on the property.  This basement wall will remain stable and secure for years to come!

Katrina P was concerned when she noticed that her kitchen floors were sinking. So, she decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Adam R was able to come up with a solution to the problem. 

Foreman Jeremy R installed a SmartJack in Katrina's basement. The SmartJack will rest on stable soil and support the portion of the house that is sinking. It will also be able to raise the level of the floors overtime. 

A foundation was becoming unstable in a basement in Saint Louis, MO, so the PowerBrace system was installed. This will permanently stabilize the foundation and eliminate any inward movement. This will also reverse the effects of wall failure, straightening the walls to their original position and closing the cracks to prevent water leakage. This foundation will remain stable and restore peace of mind for years to come!

Deric C. of Columbia, Illinois was troubled by his bowing foundation walls. As the walls bowed under pressure, they cracked and allowed water to enter his basement.

This homeowner from Columbia, Illinois, noticed that the main floor in her room was sinking. System design specialist, Nelson M., worked with Judy to designed a customized plan that would stabilize and level her crawl space ceiling.
