A retaining wall was shifting and bowing forward due to the settling soil behind it, causing concern for the homeowners. To solve this issue, the GeoLock Wall Anchor System was installed. These are galvanized steel earth anchors embedded into the soil out and away from the wall. Once installed, these will hold the wall in its current position and can be tightened to allow for improvement and straightening of the wall over time. Woods custom fit the adjustable steel beams to the height of the basement. The beams were secured firmly against the walls by attaching them to steel brackets to the foundation floor and floor joists above.
