Water leaks in this Edwardsville, Illinois basement caused mold growth on the wood paneling that led to problems for the homeowners. It's important to ensure that once water hits the sump pump, that it will actually end up outside and not just end up back in the basement. Our IceGuard® acts as an ejection port for water to escape in case the sump pump discharge line gets clogged.  Our TripleSafe® sump pump offers three pumps with one being a battery backup to keep the basement dry all the time.  The covered lid for the sump pump also has a radon approved floor drain to properly operate for dehumidifier condensation lines.

Window well drains need to stay clog free and free flowing.  Draining a window well to daylight to a point down hill from the home is the best solution.  But what if the yard is level?  Having a clog-free interior drain is the best option, called WellDuct®.  We installed our WellDuct® on the interior basement wall to the exterior window well of this Edwardsville, Illinois home.  We drained it into a section of our WaterGuard® system and tied that into the existing drainage system that leads to the homeowner's sump pump.  To make sure a basement stays dry all the time, we recommend our upgrade sump pump system with battery backup called TripleSafe® and a perimeter WaterGuard® basement waterproofing system.

This basement block foundation was leaking into the basement at several different points along the perimeter.  The waterguard accepts water leaking into the basement from below the basement floor, under the basement wall and footing and water draining down the block wall.  The Waterguard basement waterproofing system is a one piece pipe that directs the water flooding this basement straight to the sump pump and keeps the basement floor dry.
