Colleen W. of Collinsville, Illinois was troubled by the damage water seepage had caused to her finished basement. Water made its way into her home where the floor meets the wall and caused damage to her carpet and drywall.

System design specialist Cory A. designed a solution to keep her basement dry. WaterGuard was installed by foreman Mason S. WaterGuard is a perimeter drainage system that guides water away from the basement. 

Jeff and Stacey L., Collinsville, Illinois homeowners, were distraught by water leaking into their basement where the floor meets the wall. The water ruined their drywall and carpet as mold began to overtake the basement. Chad B., system design specialist, designed a solution to keep the basement dry.

Dale B. of Collinsville, IL was having major issues with water getting into his finished basement. It was damaging his finished walls and soaking his carpeted floors. Dale was worried it would only get worse so he called Woods Basement Systems for a free assessment. Woods recommended installing a basement waterproofing system.

IceGuards were installed as part of the waterproofing system. IceGuards are attached to the discharge lines from the sump pump on the exterior of the home. Water will flow straight through them when there is no problems with the exterior discharge lines. If the discharge lines become frozen during the winter months, however, the slotted openings in the IceGuards allow water to escape into the yard and not come back into the basement.

Dale B. can now enjoy his finished basement without worrying about rainy weather because he knows it will stay dry.

Design specialist Nolan M. assessed the situation and decided the best option was to install a WaterGuard drainage system, a BrightWall paneling system, and a Twin Pack sump pump. Foreman Mason S. then headed to the home to get the job started.

The WaterGuard drainage system, pictured above, was installed above the footing of the basement. After its installation, the system is covered with concrete. It collects any water rising from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. The WaterGuard then drains the water to the sump pump.

Louise F. is happy that she no longer has to worry about her home's basement collecting water. She now has a dry and waterproof home.
