Due to settlement in her home, Tracie's floors were sagging, so our team installed SmartJack. SmartJack is a system that puts a stop to your sagging floors. Due to the moisture and soils in your crawl space, floors above crawl spaces are vulnerable. The SmartJack system provides a permanent fix to these issues by using steel columns, threaded rods and a solid base to address any issues your crawl space may introduce to your floors. Installing this system usually takes less than a day and it provides immediate stabilization.

Roger noticed the family room in his log cabin starting to sink due to poor crawl space support. We answered his call and sent an Ayers crew to install support structures called SmartJacks. The steel jacks are attached to the floor joists above and rest on a sturdy base within the ground. SmartJacks effectively support sagging beams and floor joists. Roger is grateful for the permanent support provided!

The story behind the cracked garage wall in this house was interesting. The wall had been hit by a car which obviously then caused the wall to begin crumbling. This also caused some of the bricks in the basement to crack. Both of these problems needed to be addressed and fixed.

Our team decided the best option was to put wall anchors in the garage to help pull the wall back to its original position. We chose to put our Carbon Armor straps in the basement since the damage wasn't as severe as in the garage. The wall anchors put in the garage are the most versatile wall repair method to use in most situations. They can fix very severe problems but are also installed independently of the floor so there's no additional strain. They can also be easily installed around obstacles on the wall such as pipes, cupboards, toilets, etc.

Kandi M. from Muskegon, MI had terrible bowing walls in her basement, as well as horizontal and vertical cracks lining the block seams. She believes that when she had  a tree removed from her property previously, the cracks and bowing could have been caused. This said, we had a solution.

For this project, we installed the PowerBrace wall repair system. PowerBrace is a wall repair system that stabilizes tilting, bowing, or buckling basement walls. The system uses steel I-beams that secure to the joists above the wall to provide the maximum support for the wall. 

This installment ensures a noninvasive yet very effective fix.

This 65 year old home in Muskegon, MI was having major foundation problems after it was impacted by a vehicle. This caused the concrete bricks to begin cracking and bowing. The foundation of your home is obviously very vital to your safety, a bad foundation can decrease the resale value and once the foundation begins cracking water, rodents and other unwanted things can get inside.

We were able to install our Geo-Lock wall anchor system for this foundation. Wall Anchors are a great option for many different types of foudation issues as they are very versatile. They are also the best way to fix a wall over time. Wall Anchors can not be used if there isn't space on the outside of the home for them to be installed.
