Concrete Lifting in Coloma, MI

Frank's back porch needed lifting because it was made of concrete and was sinking. So our team installed PolyLevel, a system designed to fix concrete slabs that have sunk by using a new product to lift the concrete slabs back to their original level. The new product used is a polyurethane foam that expands and has a high density in order to raise the concrete. The process is quite simple and is done by drilling small holes into the concrete and then inserting the foam into the holes. Also, the PolyLevel system is waterproof and long-lasting.

Repairing Foundation Walls in Vicksburg, MI

Wade needed to fix the crack in his wall because he was trying to sell his house. So he called our team for help and we installed the GeoLock Anchor System. This system permanently stabilized Wade's wall. In most cases it can eventually straighten the wall back to its original position. It is done by putting heavy anchors in stable soil away from your foundation wall. This system is ideal because it involves minimal disturbance to your lawn and home. For Wade, we also installed the wall plate part of the GeoLock system. These plates can easily be covered to allow your basement to have a finished look.

SmartJack Raises Floor in Crawl Space of Kinde, MI, Home

Robert went into his crawl space to see the floor of his house was slanted. Due to his concerns, he called Ayers and asked about our foundation solutions. A team was sent to Robert's home to examine the issue and recommend the best option. Our experts determined the best way to secure the home's foundation was the SmartJack and a supplemental beam. The SmartJack is an additional support system used in crawl spaces to raise slanting floors, and the supplemental beam is used for extra support.

Leveling a Home with an Uneven Patio

Josh could clearly see that his home was offset. Walking into his home he saw that his patio was slopping down towards the ground. Luckily, Josh was referred to Ayers and was met by our resident foreman Evan. Even inspected the area and had to inform Josh that both the Patio and the Home were offset.

Evan and his team deconstructed the patio and installed helical piers to level the home. Helical piers are long, screw-shaped, metal drives that are driven under the home at an angle. The tops are capped with concrete blocks that the home rests upon. The weight is distributed onto the blocks and reintroduces support to the home's foundation.

Huge Basement Upgrade for Lewiston Home

Homeowners in Lewiston, MI, noticed troubling signs of settlement in their 1970s home—sloping floors and sticking doors hinted that their cinder block foundation needed serious support. The Ayers team excavated 2x2 ft. areas, backfilled them with engineered fill, and installed SmartJacks for lasting stability. While water intrusion wasn’t a major issue, the homeowners chose to stay ahead by adding a CleanSpace moisture barrier, sealing out potential moisture and brightening up the basement. It is a beautiful transformation, giving this family peace of mind in their home.
