Our team was called because Daniel wanted an egress window installed in his basement. Egress Windows are required because they are big enough to provide a safe exit in case of emergency. Also, these windows provide lots of natural light. Lastly, most windows offer minimal protection against outside air entering the home due to poor insulation around the window. Tom noticed small cracks forming in his basement below a window. He called Ayers for our years of waterproofing experience. We sent a crew to the home for a free inspection. Our system design specialists recommended our FlexiSpan solution to seal the cracks. FlexiSpan will treat the slits without the stress and cost of remodeling the entire wall. First, our crew fills the small gaps with a flexible sealant. Then, we install a drainage layer. If water permeates the white panel over the now sealed cracks, the water will flow to the subfloor drain installed under the wall. Concrete is poured over this drain to conceal it within the floor. Tom is grateful for the quick fix that prevents further water damage!

This customer had water seeping into the corner of his basement where the floor and wall met. A small puddle of standing water was also constantly forming on the floor even though a sump pump was present in the home. This homeowner was looking for an effective solution to collect and discard leaking water and our team of experts knew exactly what to do.

To properly collect and discard intruding water into the sump pump, we installed the WaterGuard system, which is an effective perimeter drainage system. This system was installed underneath the flooring around the interior perimeter of the basement. Water entering the home is able to flow down into the drainage pipes, rather than onto the floor and is carried directly to the sump pump to be discarded from the home. A WaterGuard inspection port was also installed to make sure we have access to the system if ever needed in the future.

Shelly had a partically finished basement that was leaking. We installed the WaterGuard system which is a French drain that is under the floor to collect water as it seeps in. The water collected is then sent to the sump pump to be discharged outside the home keeping the basement dry.
