Water in a Finished Basement in South Bend, IN

The homeowners had water coming into their basement where the floor and the wall meet. This water was particularly frightening for these homeowners because they had a finished basment and they did not want their belongings or their carpet to get ruined.

Our professional team installed the WaterGuard long lasting interior perimeter drainage system to stop the water from destroyer the homeowners finished basement. WaterGuard effectively captures wall and floor seepage before it damages your basement floor. The WaterGuard drainage system sits on the top of the footing inside the basement so the pipes do not get clogged by mud or anything else. Water enters the system via inlet holes and flows through the drainage pipe to the sump pump. The sump pump then effectively removes the water from the home.

The before picture shows the water that was seeping into the home. The after picture shows what the WaterGuard system looks like before it is covered with a clean layer of concrete.

The homeowners finised basement is now clean and dry thanks to the WaterGuard interior perimeter drainage system!

Installing Egress Windows in South Bend, IN

Water intrusion had become a common thing in Jacky and Robert’s basement. They believed part of it was seeping in through cracks near the basement windows so they called our team and we replaced their windows with Egress Windows. Due to poor insulation around the window, most windows offer minimal protection against outside air entering the home. Egress windows help ventilate your indoor areas and prevent unwanted allergens from entering your house. So, our team installed an Egress window which will help keep Robert and Jacky's basement better insulated.

WaterGuard System and SuperSump Plus Tackle Water Leaks Together in South Bend, IN Home

Steve was tired of worrying about his home after occasional water leaks would accumulate in his basement after heavy rains hit the house. He wanted a solution so he called up Ayers and we had a crew come to his home to check out the basement. It was then determined by our System Design Specialists he would need our WaterGuard System and SuperSump Plus.

First with WaterGuard installed, this below-floor drainage system will collect water leaking in and direct the flow to the sump and drainage system. This specially designed piping is placed around the perimeter of the basement and is concealed with concrete. Steve can have regular flooring installed over this for the finished look as well. Then we installed our SuperSump Plus which is a horsepower pump that is designed for basements with only occasional water leaks. It will pump 2200 gallons of water an hour at an 8 foot head.

Steve was thrilled to have these waterproofing systems installed so he doesn't have to stress about these frustrating water leaks!

No Mess Left Behind after Ayers Install Discharge Line in South Bend, IN

Erika and Trish were concerned with their home as water was coming into their basement. Unsure of where the water was coming from, they decided to call Ayers to find a permanent solution. An inspection was conducted, and the team at Ayers concluded water was leaking through the foundation. The team suggested installing various waterproofing products to eliminate all the water!

As the water is funneled and pumped out of the basement, it has to be pumped out through discharge lines and out of the house. Erika and Trish were concerned with what their yard may look like; however, after Ayers was done with the installation, it looked like nothing even happened!

Triple Safe Sump Pump to The Rescue in South Bend, IN

A basement in South Bend, IN was in need of some waterproofing.  Heavy rains caused the home, built in 1942, to leak water in. The sump pump that was already there just couldn't handle the water.

Our professional team had the perfect solution.  In the before picture you see the original sump pump.  It wasn't doing the job that needed to be done for this basement.  In the after picture, we replaced the old, broken sump pump with one of our Triple Safe sump pumps.  The Triple Safe sump pump has three sump pumps in one. The first pump will do most of the pumping effectively. The second sump pump will be there in case the first one fails. The second pump is more powerful and has a separate discharge line to give you a boost in the rare cases you need it. The third pump is designed using batteries so it will be there for you if the power goes out. The Triple Safe sump pump is the best option because it adjusts automatically when needed and keeps your basement dry with triple protection!
