Richard realized the water from outside was leaking into his crawl space and causing a nasty smell upstairs. He knew his old sump pump must have failed, so he called Ayers for help. Karl noticed his old sump pump had failed, and water leaked into his basement. This wasn't a good sign, so he researched his options online and called Ayers to learn about our waterproofing solutions. We sent a crew of experts to his house to assess the situation, and they suggested installing the TripleSafe sump pump. The homeowners had water coming into their basement from their crawlspace. Water was pooling in their crawlspace and seeping into their home. The homeowner did not have a sump pump so standing water had started to accumulate in the basement. 

Our professional team installed the TripleSafe sump pump in order to combat this standing water. The TripleSafe sump pump is great because it has three sump pumps in one, giving you triple protection. The first pump will remove water from your home efficiently and effectively. The second pump is more powerful and has a separate discharge line. The second pump is there for you on the rare occasions that the first pump fails. The third pump is equipped with batteries so it is there for you if the power goes out. The triple safe sump pump is the best option because it adjusts automatically when needed and keeps your basement dry with triple protection.

Water was leaking into the corners of this basement after heavy rainfalls. The basement already had 3 different floor drains and a sump pump, but they were no longer in use. To keep water out and prevent future puddles, the owners gave us a call.

Water that leaks into basement tends to flow down the walls and puddle at the floor and wall joint. For this exact reason, we install our perimeter drainage system at the foot of basement walls. In the after photo, you can see the gap for the WaterGuard system that permits water to enter the pipes. Since there were drains already in place, the customer asked to have the WaterGuard connected to the storm drain system for discharge. The crew was happy to oblige. Rainfalls will no longer mean the flooding of this basement.

We had been in talks with the owners of this University property since last December. After months of passing the proposal up the chain, the job was finally approved. The main concern was the regular leaking of the basement walls. For any basement waterproofing, one of the key aspects is a sump pump system. The hole shown in the before photo is an open sump that was installed in the home previously. It wasn’t able to keep up with the heavy water load that was regularly flowing into the home. After talks with one of the system design specialist, the owners decided on one of our most reliable sump pump systems, the SuperSump.

Seen in the after photo, the SuperSump is capable of discharging over 2,000 gallons of water per hour and has an optional backup pump that will keep water out even if the power goes out. Also, unlike the previous sump, the SuperSump comes equipped with a lid to keep out any type of debris that could clog the system. With the SuperSump and several other waterproofing products included in this installation, this basement won’t have to worry about leaking walls again.
