Charles has a finished basement that has been colder than normal lately, so he decided to check for problems. Eventually, he called us for a free quote. Our team determined that it was his basement window that was giving him air flow issues. We recommended an Egress Window installation and Charles agreed. Now he doesn't have to fear going in his chilly basement.

We received a call from a homeowner in Alto, MI that was having problems with her basement walls. She wanted our professional help, so we drove to her property and installed Flexispan technology. FlexiSpan is a crack sealer for concrete that is used often times on basement walls. First, a dry well is made in the floor below the crack on the wall. Then, the crack in the wall is ready for a FlexiSpan seal. FlexiSpan contains three layers, the first is a urethane based sealant, followed by a polyurethane ether foam strip, finished off with a polyurethane sealant. Any water drains into the dry well below the FlexiSpan seal. Now this homeowner won't have to worry about wet basement walls ever again.

Chris and Monica have some water issues in the north side of the basement. The area has been leaking for a couple years now and they just want to be able to have a dry space. We installed the WaterGuard system which is made up of a French drain that is installed under the floor. It is kept out of the "mud zone" by being installed under the floor but above the foundation. The WaterGuard collects water that enters the basement and sends it to the sump pump to be expelled outside of the home.

After the inspection was complete, our System Design Specialists determined our WaterGuard System and TripleSafe Sump Pump System would effectively clean up the water. WaterGuard is a subfloor drainage system placed on the foundation's footing and around the perimeter of the basement walls. This system will ensure water is collected in the drain and directed to the new sump pump we installed next. We conceal the system by pouring concrete over the drain. TripleSafe is a three-pump system fitting in one durable liner and takes care of water intrusion. Now that Gracy's basement is waterproof, she won't have to stress over water damage!
