Carbon Armor Stabilizes Okemos, MI Home
MaryLou and Roland called Ayers Basement Systems because their 1968 Okemos, MI basement had some cracking between the blocks of the foundation. The couple recently retired and want to spend their time traveling but need to make sure the home is safe and secure while they're gone. They don't want to worry about coming home to a partially collapsed home. Our crew came out to do an inspection and determined that MaryLou and Roland would need us to install Carbon Armor.
Carbon Armor is a flexible, fabric like epoxy that is 10x stronger than steel. The epoxy adheres to your basement walls and penetrates into the surface to reinforce and stabilize the home. MaryLou and Roland were thrilled with the work done by the Ayers crew! They cannot wait to enjoy retired life and travel in peace without worrying if their home would be there when they return.

Wall Anchors Save a Bowing Seawall in Granger, IN
Matt, our friend in Granger, IN began noticing that the seawall behind his home was progressively bowing toward the lake. He was growing increasingly concerned that the wall was eventually going to end up falling into the lake. Seeking professional help, Matt called us! We rushed to the rescue and implemented a plan to straighten Matt’s seawall using a series of 17 wall anchors. Wall anchors are perfect for returning a wall back to its original position and reinforcing it. We stabilize the wall with a steel rod that runs from the wall anchor to an anchor placed on the other side of the wall. Once we place the plates we have permanently stabilized the wall.
