The problem with block basement walls is that they can easily sprout leaks. The block allows vapor and actual water to seep through, which can stain and water damage walls. That's exactly what happened to this restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie (see before picture). When the owner decided to waterproof the floor, he realized it was as good a time as any to fix up the walls as well.

Our BrightWall panels were the perfect solution. The paneling was attached directly on top of the previously stained walls, and it's clear that the white plastic is a much better look for the basement. On top of that, the basement walls are now completely waterproof. Water vapor and moisture may pass through the porous block walls, but they won't make it through the BrightWall paneling. Any water that does seep through the block walls will be drained into the restaurant's new perimeter drainage system and discharged outside. A good restaurant atmosphere usually refers to the actual dining area, but that's no reason why the rest of the place shouldn't look its best too. Kathie had noticed water was seeping into her crawl space through the entrance. Kathie contacted Ayers and set up a home inspection to explore her options. An Ayers specialist determined that The Turtl Cover would be perfect for her home! The Turtl is a durable, plastic crawl space access well that provides a water-tight seal into the crawl space. Kathie was thrilled that she no longer needed to worry about water leaking into the crawl space through the entrance!

Sharon had water in her basement that was getting the carpet damp so she wanted it addressed before other issues arose. We installed a sump pump to get rid of the water, the WaterGuard Drain System to collect the water, and the SaniDry XP to keep the area dry as well as filter the air. 

Leilani had been experiencing water issues within her home's basement for some time and with the wet spring season ahead, Leilani wanted to ensure her home was protected.

After evaluating the basement, it was evident that for it to stay dry, we would need to install a full basement waterproofing system. Our WaterGuard® directs water coming into the basement floor into our TripleSafe™ sump pump to remove the water and discharge it a safe distance outside away from the house. During freezing temperatures the water discharged from the home will freeze and expand within the pipes, so our IceGuard® serves as a mechanism to block off water from re-entering the tube and instead, allows for a secondary exit point. Lastly, our CleanSpace® helped make the water damaged walls not only appear bright and clean, but provides a safe water vapor barrier so that moisture can no longer enter. 

Dexter and Deb wanted their crawl space encapsulated, so they contacted Ayers! Once an inspection was set up and conducted, the team at Ayers suggested installing CleanSpace and Drainage Matting. Drainage matting lays under the CleanSpace and houses divots to create paths for water to flow and drain out.

CleanSpace utilizes a heavy-duty plastic liner, encapsulating the entire crawlspace and creating a vapor barrier! CleanSpace not only made Dexter and Debs's crawl space waterproof, but it also looks better and will help their home be more efficient!
