Deborah discovered that her Michigan basement was leaking. During rain, the same area in the basement would get wet and puddle up. She decided to call Ayers to determine the problem and explore solutions.  

A System Design Specialist was sent out for an assessment of the home and to look for solutions. After thoroughly assessing the house, the team at Ayers suggested CleanSpace System and the SmartSump. The CleanSpace system is a water-proof vapor barrier that prevents moisture or vapor from entering the basement. Any water from the walls will be funneled behind the CleanSpace and directed toward a pump. Additionally, the SmartSump is a sump pump ideal for crawlspace environments. This sump pump houses a primary pump that pumps any water in the crawlspace out and away from the house. 

These two products will eliminate the risk of water damage and ultimately take care of Deborah's problem. Ayers was more than happy to provide a permeant solution for the home! 

Clair and Michael came to Ayers because they had issues with their Michigan basement. The cold air from the basement appeared to be seeping into the home, causing the rest of the home to become cold. Ayers inspected the house and concluded that CleanSpace would be perfect for the problem. CleanSpace utilizes a heavy-duty pool-like liner that lines the entirety of the space and creates a moisture barrier. The moisture will not only keep water out of the basement but also keep cold air out and warm air inside the home. Once CleanSpace was installed in Clair and Michael's house, they no longer had issues with their home getting cold!

James tried adding protection to his crawl space with a store-bought tarp. Our professionals at Ayers know this is only a temporary band-aid to the problem. James knew a permanent solution was required to tackle his crawl space issues, so he called Ayers. Our crew inspected the area and let James know CleanSpace would provide the necessary protection. CleanSpace utilizes a vapor barrier that prevents the growth of nasty mold or bacteria. This solution is a thick plastic liner that covers the crawl space floor and walls. The liner will repel moisture development and other outside pests that prosper in these areas. James feels more at ease with his crawl space sealed permanently!

After intermittent water issues in the crawl space - regularly occurring but usually negligible amounts of water - our customer looked into his crawl space to find four inches of standing water.

We drained the water (the before picture is the immediate aftermath, where everything is still nice and soggy) and installed a Smart Sump to help with any future water accumulation, before encapsulating the crawl space with the CleanSpace vapor barrier system and drainage matting.

A lot of water was entering Nick and Pam’s basement through their walls. So our team installed the CleanSpace Basement Finishing Wall System to prevent any more water intrusion. Using a poly sheet material to completely cover basement foundation walls this system acts as a vapor and moisture barrier. The material is waterproof, stain resistant and can be applied over many different types of surfaces. This system was perfect for Nick and Pam and put a stop to all water intrusion into her basement immediately.
