When a potential buyer asked if there was anything that could be done about this Edwardsburg, MI crawl space, the current owner and real estate agent called us out for help. The dirt floor in the before picture makes for an easy passageway for moisture to enter the crawl space and cause problems. However, the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier that was installed would put a stop to that. The CleanSpace barrier, seen in the after photo, is impenetrable by moisture or vapor. To start, we installed a SaniDry dehumidifier that will work to circulate the air throughout the space. With this system, it will keep humidity low to block out moisture and stop mold growth. We then covered the crawl space with CleanSpace, shown in the after picture.
