 You wouldn’t want moisture or mold in your living room, so why would you want it in your crawl space?! These homeowners in Dorr, MI knew that they had to do something about their damp crawl space once they spotted mold. They called Ayers, and our crew visited their home to inspect the crawl space. The solution we provided them with was a durable liner and a drain to keep moisture out. CleanSpace, thick, multi-layer liner was fixed to the walls, covering the floor. This antimicrobial provides a barrier to moisture and water vapor, keeping mold away. Additionally, SmartDrain helps drain leaks in this dirt crawl space and features an alarm that alerts the homeowners to the leak. Sandy and Terry B. had a large crawl space covered in fibre glass insulation that was beyond it's usefulness and that had begun to drop from the ceiling. This crawl space had a dirt floor that was uninsulated and allowing cold air and moisture to enter the space.
