Greg's home had a dirt crawl space that needed encapsulation. He called Ayers for our crawl space repair expertise. We sent a system design specialist for an inspection. From this, our specialist was able to recommend CleanSpace. CleanSpace is a heavy-duty plastic liner manufactured with a vapor barrier that prevents moisture buildup. This liner is installed on the crawl space floor and walls, shielding the area from critters, mold, and moisture. Unlike a tarp, this solution is permanent and will not collect water or dirt over time. Greg is over the moon with the stunning transformation!

A curran homeowner called us for some help with their crawlspace. We came to the rescue and insulated our advanced CleanSpace technology.  CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick plastic liner that fits to the crawl space to completely seal the home from the earth. Polyester cord reinforcement allows for a lot of durability, to make it last longer than the home will. This liner also contains an antimicrobial additive to prevent mold. Now, this homeowner won't have to worry about a wet crawlspace ever again.

Michigan's ever-changing weather conditions had led to persistent moisture issues in Darrin's crawl space.

Seeking a solution, he turned to Ayers Basement Systems. After a thorough inspection, Ayers recommended the CleanSpace system to address the moisture. Darrin's home was no longer under the threat of water damage, and his crawl space was now a place of safety and security! 

Jeff called up Ayers for a crawl space renovation. After inspection, our Ayers System Design Specialist decided CleanSpace would do the trick. They even decided to install our Drainage Matting to ensure it stays dry. 

CleanSpace utilizes a durable, thick plastic liner that runs along the crawl space. It contains a vapor barrier, protecting it from excess moisture that can lead to bacteria or mold growth. Our Drainage Matting is lined underneath the CleanSpace plastic liner. This dimpled mat allows water to pass underneath making sure it reaches the drain.

Late last year, our call center received a call from Luella, a local homeowner in Grayling, MI. The CleanSpace encapsulation product is a 20mm thick plastic lining that completely seals off the crawl space from the grim elements it faces below. We also determined the cement block supports under Luella’s home were no longer stabilizing her home. To supplement the CleanSpace and support her home we installed six Smart Jacks. The Smart Jack is a supplemental support system for crawl space applications. The Smart Jack effectively supports sagging beams and floor joists caused by, a length of span greater than spanning capability, floor load increased after construction, exceeding design values, and weakening over time due to high moisture and rot. After the installation of the CleanSpace system Luella told us she wished she would have had this transformation done years ago. Thanks to the hard work and efforts of our team, our new friend no longer thinks of her crawlspace as the terrible place it once was.
