This family cottage sits right on the beach and they wanted to make sure their beloved cottage was going to last another 100 years, for generations to come. The homeowners noticed the floor was starting to sink and were not level throughout the home and most of the windows and doors were sticking, all signs that the foundation is settling. 

We were able to fix the settling floors and sticking windows and doors by installing out SmartJack crawl space stabilizers. The front walkway should be an inviting path to the home; it shouldn't be a tripping hazard. As soil beneath the concrete slabs changes due to moisture or washout, the levels of the slabs change, making a walkway or sidewalk uneven. A solution to fixing slab settlement is PolyLevel. This state of the art approach consists of injecting the slab with high-density polymers. This material is waterproof, meaning it won't wash out benath the slab in the future. It's quick drying time allows the slabs to be walked in within 15 minutes of application. PolyLevel helped even this walkway, making it a safe entryway to the home.

Kelly noticed a vertical crack in her finished basement wall and a big crack outside her home near the corner.
